Agricultural Science

This competency-based course is designed as the foundational course for Agriculture. The course introduces the
major areas of scientific agricultural production, research, and introductory skills and knowledge in agricultural science
and agriculture technologies. Using virtual reality, students will practice crop leaf identification, determining genotypes
and phenotypes, determining medication dosages, vehicle maintenance, and financial applications in agriculture. Upon
completion of this course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to earn a digital badge in agriculture.
They will also be better prepared for the Agricultural Science certification exam.
