Kindergarten Reading, Semester 2

This online Kindergarten Reading course provides a foundation for formalized reading and writing instruction. Areas addressed include listening and speaking skills; phonemic awareness analysis, print awareness, grammar skills, vocabulary skills; literature comprehension; and writing readiness. The goals of the reading program is to instill a love of reading within all students by introducing engaging texts and authors. Helping students discover the different purposes for reading by exploring sub genres by using online and printable worksheets and at home hands-on projects. State standards are adhered to in this course, and noted on the unit overlooks.
