Secondary Math II - Semester 2
Secondary Math II - Semester 2
This online Seconary Math II course focuses on quadratic expressions, equations, and functions and how they compare to linear and exponential relationships. It is organized into six units that cover critical areas such as extending the set of rational numbers and introducing real and complex numbers to solve quadratic equations. Students explore the link between probability and data, including conditional probability and counting methods, to aid in decision-making. The study of similarity leads to an understanding of right triangle trigonometry and Pythagorean relationships. The course also covers circles and their quadratic algebraic representations. Throughout the course, the Mathematical Practice Standards are integrated with content standards to help students experience mathematics as a coherent, useful, and logical subject that can be applied to real-world problem situations.
